The game was originally planned for release as Shenandoah: Daughter of the Stars on the Amiga in 1993 before the project was abandoned.The difficulty is pretty high althou i'm not the greatest shoot'em up fan/player.The hardness comes from not getting anything when you don't finish a level and that shows being made in 1993.Nowadays we are spoiled by roguelites giving global progression regardless of winning. Here you will be playing the same level alot without upgrading guns/ ships.There is alot of variety to the guns and ships, if you can get the gold.For me i got stuck not able to do the 2nd level and without any progression i stopped playing. Fan of Shoot'em ups but i just suck in them. Also i could not redo the first level and farm some money Played for 1hour.Pros- Old Skool- No global progression- Variety of Weapons and Ships- Co-opCons- No global progression- Not able to redo a finished levelI recommend it for the Shoot'em upers fans if you are not part of them you might want to skip this.. I dont usually play shoot em up games but when i saw this game was made back in 1993 i just had to try it out. And of course i failed like a dog. Rage quit and tried to forget about it but i just had to beat that f***ing boss. So i tried again and after a while my luck turned. its weird how things change but this game actually made me starting liking shootemups. So about that rage part. The game is hard as hell and i couldnt really figure out the controls. Enter a menu to figure that out.. dont think so! The price is ok, its indie so they probably worked their asses off since 1993, try it! :D. I am sure this is a very good game. But I am just not into these types of games. Old school touch is there but all the rest feels weak (like the shooting mostly)... why play this when you have Steredenn in your library ?. Great game! A nostalgic trip back in time when R-type and IO roled. If your are too young too have played these games try this one. And if your are old enouge, take this journey back in time. :). Was boring for me. Becomes annoying after dying the Nth time and having to start over again. No way of setting the difficulty. Not fun.. A shmup without an option for digital gamepad/stick movement.Are you kidding me?. The game is perfectly fine, there isn't really anything to dislike about it, but neither is anything to like about it. It is a simple old school arcade shooter that offers just that.
